A Very Big Thank You to Everyone who Made my Trip to Russia Possible

(January 20, 2014 ~ May 22, 2014)

          I am so grateful to have been blessed with the opportunity to go on this trip, so here are a few thank you's I want to mention:

         To my family: Mom, Dad, Katya - for making this trip possible though your financial and moral support. Thank you for understanding and allowing me to take time off from school to do other great things and experience living in Russia.

        To more of my family: Thank you to Vadim and Tanya (and Lucas) for being so amazing and welcoming me to your home in Washington DC. Thank you also for giving me sound advice about Russia and connecting me with others who have already and will further help me along this way. 

        To even more of my family: Thank you to both of my grandmothers here in Russia for letting me live with them and giving me countless opportunities and support. And thank you to the rest of my extended family and those who have and will become family to me - you are very much appreciated.

       To my friends: Thank you every one of you for inspiring me and and having my back when it came to making the final decision to take time off from school and go on this trip. You opinions and support mean more than you know. Despite the unconventionality of this trip, you have been all for it, and that kind of unconditional love is truly touching and motivational. Thank you for believing in me and I won't let you down - I'm going to experience everything with a big heart and your advise and hopes for me in mind.
