About Me

Hello! My name is Sasha Pchenitchnikova, and this is my blog about the little tidbits, snippets, adventures, and happenings in my life.

I started this blog in the beginning of 2014, when I decided to take the school semester off and live in Russia with my grandmothers. It was a fantastic way to  document all the adventures I had while abroad and to stay connected with the people back home in America.

But now I am back home for the summer, and I want to stay connected with the people away from home! So I have decided to continue my blog and write about the various "snippets and happenings" in my life.

A little about me...
I graduated from Los Altos High School in 2012 and attended Colorado State University for a year and a half. At CSU, I played on the Division 1 Women's Soccer team for a season, studied hard, made friends, had fun, but most importantly decided to transfer. Now I am a student at Portland State University, studying Psychology in the hopes of becoming a teacher.
I am a traveller, explorer, dreamer, reader, and seeker of happiness. I love soccer, taking photos (especially of flowers), Impressionist paintings, hiking, quotes, yoga, and the Shaytards.
Since beginning this blog, I have learned an incredible amount about myself and the world around me. I have changed, I have grown, and I have experienced. Many things make up who I am today, but who I will be, I don't know. So I'm writing this blog in order to be able to look back and see what has happened to make me who I become.

The one quote that has changed my life forever:
"Happiness is a choice."  ~Shay Carl
